Pretty Much a Boyfriend Update

Finally making it to the stage?

So it appears that I owe my audience another blog post........or 5.  A LOT has been happening and it is soooo exciting!  I'm so proud of the boyfriend :)  I of course no longer have time for the daily breakdown so lets just call this CATCH UP!  I could go for some Ketchup right now....

Although I have talked about the boyfriend having an internship, I don't remember if I said where and it seems too tedious to go back through my awesome blog posts as I don't think I could handle my own awesomeness (sounds legit).  Anyways, he is an intern for 7-Waves Entertainment (http://www.7-waves.com/) where he essentially serves as Producer's assistant.  I bring that back up because he got that internship by applying to another internship.  That producer decided that the boyfriend would be better suited for 7-Waves but still said he can help with his website development....and then we never heard from him again >_<

And then one magical day, he gets a text from him saying that he will pay him to work on his website. WOOOOOHOOOOO!  The boyfriend is officially a freelancer!!! :D  SOOOOO exciting!  He even updated his portfolio website! http://www.williammylesgray.com/

Following that happening, 7-Waves had its FIRST event called "Shorts-n-Stuff," an event that will now be monthly with different themes featuring shorts films, live acts, and artists.  The boyfriend was to help set-up and help run the event.........which meant he got to sit at the door, hand out flyers, and ask people to put their information on the sign-up sheet....hahaha very important nonetheless of course.

I quickly took this picture and then had to ditch him...waaaht???  I am here for the PARTY.  And I wasn't leaving till they threw me out.....

I had a great time!  The show was great as I knew it would be since the theme was "Comedy."  There were three comedians there (I OF COURSE am waaaaay better but I had to man the booth and make sure the seats were warm and that aliens wouldn't attack so unfortunately I was unable to go up), who were great and three really funny films.

Enjoying the show :)
I finally got to network and I met 3 great people that I hope I get to see at next month's event and take a million pictures with them!  One of the people we met was the lovely Priscilla Leona, producer of a very popular radio show called "Question Reality." (http://www.latalkradio.com/Priscilla.php)  Why is it popular? Because she interviews people in the entertainment industry, including celebrities, to inspire those who came to California to "make it."  So obviously everyone in California listens to it xD  We listened to her for at least two hours that night because she had so many interesting stories and information.

After the event, they had a little "red carpet" photo shoot.  Look at us on the red carpet!

Look at us, we're famous now, our work here is done.  I am now selling my autograph for $50 a pop.  Any takers?

Back to reality (I am now officially qualified to give out reality checks if anyone is interested in commissioning someone to hand those out): Now I must admit that the boyfriend and I have an addiction to Pet Smart....we go into everytime we go to Walmart........which means we live there.  So now......we volunteer there.  Here's the story:

When we got the boyfriend's cat, she hadn't been spayed.  Which super weird because my cat is younger and she was spayed.  We figure it is because his cat is a special breed and she is absolutely beautiful so they didn't spay her in case the person who adopted her wanted to breed her.  Well um no, I would never want to do that to my baby.  So we had to go get her spayed which was literally painful for us because she is already so jumpy and scared of everything, we were afraid she would hate us forever.  Anyways, we are at the vet and we speak to a lady who ends up being the person we see every Saturday at PetSmart holding dog adoptions.  After speaking with her we definitely decide we want to help out.  So now, we pick a day or more during the week where we go their kennels and help walk the dogs and show them some love.  We also go to PetSmart on adoption days and walk around telling people about the dogs in hopes that they want to adopt. Right now, we are giving three puppies that were found in the middle of nowhere full of worms, fleas, and I don't know what else, all our love and attention as they are in the healing stages right now.  They are so cute!
This is McKinley.  He is the oldest and WANTS your attention....especially if you are giving someone else attention.  HE wants it!

This is Klondike.  He is GORGEOUS and SOOO fluffy you could DIE!!  He looks like a sheep and a pig it is literally so cute.
This is Shasta.  He is a little scaredy puppy and you can tell he has some owies on his face which just makes him all the more precious.
We just love the puppies so much and we want to take one home soooo bad....even though we can barely handle our crazy kitties xD  So we decided to just stick with our kitties :)

COOLEST NEWS EVER BTW:
Milkshake can FETCH.  And I thought Domino was the dog.
I noticed that Milkshake was always picking up the ball so one day I asked her to bring it back to me and she did!!!  The boyfriend, so smart, actually recorded it though:

Now that we are kind of up-to-date, I want to talk about this week because it was quite AWESOME.  7-Waves has a few scripts that they wanted to present to the owner of the company that owns 7-Waves so after doing casting several weeks ago, it was time to present it to the owner.  They do this by having a script reading.  There were two scripts and they were practicing the first one on Monday, the second one on Tuesday, and doing the actual presentation on Wednesday.  Unfortunately, the one on Monday was quite early so I missed it due to work.  I got to go on Tuesday though and man was I EXCITED....maybe a little bit too excited....it was kind of a dinky theatre but I felt like I was on Broadway!

Anyways, I'm watching the actors read and there are some parts that weren't "cast."  The reason being that these actors are taking time out of their day even though there is not only no guarantee of the film actually being made but there is also no guarantee that if it does get made that they are even going to be cast in the film!  So there is no point in bringing in actors to read 1 line.  That's where I come in.  They asked me if I wanted to read and I'm like HECK YES!!!!!!!!  At the end of it, they think I'm quite awesome and ask if I can read the next day at the official reading sitting on the stage with the other actors and I'm just so excited! Again.....too excited, but I don't care.  I love being included!

So on Wednesday, I got to be down there on stage with all of them which was super exciting.  I mostly played men >_<.  And I was AWESOME!  We did great but I don't think the script will be picked up because there are too many loose ends and some things that weren't believable like certain relationships within the script.  I really liked it but I think it needed to be longer to fix whatever issues it had.

Me up there reading!  So exciting!

It's all good, I had something VERY important to do anyways.  I found out the night before that the only female in the film (besides me :D) was a recurring cast member on Pretty Little Liars!!!!!  So my very important thing to do was to get a freaking picture!

P.S. She will also be a recurring cast member on The Tomorrow People which premiers Wednesday!

It's Aeriel Miranda!!!  She has straight hair in Pretty Little Liars so it might be hard to tell but it is her I swear!!!
Basically, I am slowly becoming a star....just because I know stars :D  That counts right?  Famous by association?

Well we have a lot of things going on here so I will definitely have a lot more updates coming up since the boyfriend has another "Shorts-N-Stuff" coming up with 7-Waves.  I will be sure to not let too much time pass by next time.  Now that we are no longer sitting around the house all day seeing which one of us can get on the others' nerves faster, I have a lot more to talk about rather than providing a score board of our arguments (which also isn't interesting because of course it's Ariale: 30923 and Boyfriend: -5....don't know how that's possible but it is).

Until next time!!!...........press the follow button :D
