Day 13: Monday
........so we wake up and go to Walmart..........
But really, what did you expect? The day was literally uneventful.......oh wait, no it wasn't....I GOT A JOB INTERVIEW!!!! It is Wednesday at 1:30pm!!! OMGAAAAAH FINALLY! It's been almost 2 weeks! I'm really excited but worried too of course.
Boyfriend made me breakfast and found out he doesn't like making bacon. Why? Because the grease jumps out of the pan and eats him alive. True Story.
So obviously I got right up close and personal to the pan to take this picture. Your Welcome. This blog would've never been the same if it weren't for this photo. Enjoy.
Not much left to this day. I didn't feel very well so I sat around watching TV. Oh yeah that reminds me, TOTALLY got the boyfriend stuck on Grey's Anatomy MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It's the only show I fell behind on and was able to find so I made him start watching it and now he loves it :D ahahahahaha
Day 14: Tuesday
Found sausage in the freezer on Monday!! So we defrosted it and decided to cook it :) Breakfast of Champions!!!!
And it's happy to see us :) Looks kind of evil no?
Decided I wanted to be super-ultra prepared for my first job interview EVER requiring a college degree :D So we decided to head out to Office Max (I LOOOOOOOVE office supplies. The prospect of actually being organized makes me SO happy :)) to print some out. We walk out the door and then we walk right back in it because what did I forget? A thumb drive with my resume so I can print it 80 bajillion times. It's ok though, the boyfriend wasn't irritated. He believes in complete communication as well and he was COMPLETELY quiet so I know he was fine with it. So glad I can be secure in my relationship.
Made it to Office Max! I had them print out my resume as well as the creative resume that my awesome boyfriend made for me! It was pretty cool, they accidentally printed it out on nice paper and we got those copies for free!! I was offering to pay for them because I didn't want my information to just be sitting there and he was like "yeah, you can just have it." YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Because printing out something with that much color at home is a nightmare so I'm happy to have gotten more copies for free.
Went to Del Taco next, and I started freaking out and wanting to research how on earth we would get to my interview since we have no car and while we are able to find people to house us, bathe us, and feed us, we have yet to find someone to drive us. I also had to find out how to do it cheaply. Virtually impossible.
The boyfriend got a taxi quote: $169
Price of taking a shuttle: $139
Price of taking a different shuttle: $99
The look on my face: Priceless
Cannot BELIEVE how expensive everything was. That was JUST one way. I can't really justify paying that much to go to the possibility of getting a job at this point. But I was going to do it anyways. Because experience is invaluable. And I need to get out of Corona for A MINUTE! What to do what to do what to do........On the way home, Auntie Princess calls with a solution: rent a car! Crazy right? That's got to be wicked expensive, plus we are under 25 so there's no way it is going to be cheap. Turns out it is $38 and some change! Insaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane.
I was satisfied with that plan so next we went to our favorite place WalMart :D I think we should get like frequent walker miles or something to that place. We are on a ROLLLLLLL! Had to go for shampoo for the boyfriend and icing for the cake mix we found in the cupboard!! Getting my fat on. Then my nap on.
Decided instead to make cupcakes with the cake mix however. Yummy!

Basically, next we went into a cupcake coma while watching Grey's Anatomy for the rest of the day. How awesome is life?
At bed time, as we are laying in bed, I am adjusting my pillows and I end up SCRATCHING my eye. Seriously, who does that? Tell the boyfriend "What on Earth is wrong with me? I just scratched my eye with a pillow baby. I make the impossible possible :(" And he shoots his hand into the air and shouts "RESUME BOOST!!!!"
Day 15: Wednesday
Interview Day.
Judgement Day.
DUHN DUHN DUUUUUUUUUUHN.
Woke up at 5:45 am was so nervous. Boyfriend had specifically told me not to wake him up until 7 so I left him alone until exactly 7. I was freaking out because as I was researching, I read that one of the people that work there really likes color and my clothing was black and white so I was freaking out and really needed the boyfriend to calm me down. He was SOOOO mad at me. After I apparently "rudely" wake him up, he gets into the shower and leaves the bathroom door wide open. I hear a noise in the bathroom like a "THUD." So I get up and I'm like:
"Boyfriend, are you ok??"
He responds: "NO!"
I run into the bathroom and exclaim: "OMG WHAT HAPPENED????"
"You woke me up :("
Seriously, sometimes, worst boyfriend ever >_<
At 7, I call "Dial a Ride" which is a shuttle service to get us to Enterprise to rent a car. They say I am supposed to call 24 hours ahead of time to make a reservation and I am calling a whole 2 hours early. Whoops. She goes ahead and says she will book us anyways but they can't get us at 9, they have to get us at 9:30. That'll work so I reserve and hang up. Finally decided on what I was going to wear!
And I got pensive!
9:30 comes and goes and then it is 9:53 am and we are supposed to be at Enterprise at 10am. I call Dial-A-Ride and they say they have no record of me. NOT what I want to hear when I really really need to be on time and I'm in a new city.
3.5 hours until interview
I call Happy Taxi to come and get us RIGHT THEN (because they have a cute name ^_^) and they tell me they'll come in about 20 minutes. Ain't nobody got time for that! So I slam my phone down and now I need a new iphone......well that escalated quickly! Just kidding though, phone is fine. I call a bunch of other taxis and they are all not answering or they say it will take 30 minutes so I have to go back to Happy Taxi and reserve a taxi. Don't want to reserve something because I'm afraid another one of my reservations will get cancelled again. But I reserve and we wait 45 minutes!! I can't take it anymore, I am ferEAKING out. When he finally gets there, we hop in and it is the world's most ghetto taxi. We tell him the address and he is like "Like where is that? Is that near Main St.? I forgot my phone so I have no GPS." WTF did you just say? WE had to Google Maps it for him and direct him to it. It's ok though, I tipped him 4 dollars because we only had $20 and somehow a trip 11 miles away cost us $16.00. The day is going great.
2.5 hours until interview
Well when we get to Enterprise, life doesn't get much better. We try to pay with debit card but you have to show proof of income and proof that you live there with like a utility bill or something with your name on it that came into the mail. We've only been here for 2 weeks and we are going to a job interview, we don't have that stuff :/ They say we can do all this quite easily with a credit card but we don't have any with the ability to put $300. Omg what do we do, what do we do.........The man was so nice, he accepted what we did have and went ahead and allowed us to rent the car. YES!!!! It's a beauty. I want it.
From here, it is rather simple since we have 2 hours to get there and it only takes one hour to get to the interview. We get there with an hour to spare and so we go to a restaurant called.........Ariale'sTooNervousToTakeNoteOfTheNameOfTheRestaurantSorry. A little lengthy but the name grows on you. We are adorable as we wait!
Interview time :S
No interest in talking about it really. I never like interviews and I'm always just happy when they are over. I studied as much as I possibly could and it was my first interview in California so while I really REALLY want the job, I have definitely learned from the interview.

Afterwards, I finally got to meet up with an old friend from middle school!
I'm not sure how other people are with their middle school friends, but I went to middle school in Germany and then most of us all moved all over the country. Basically we all have a faint memory of each other and we look each other up if we are ever in the area which I love. Anyways, we go to pick up a friend of hers and her apartment area was really pretty.
You do NOT want to know why the tape is around the pool......little kids are gross is all I have to say. Pretty pool though :)
Then we go to Huntington Beach! Why? Because we hail from the land of beaches and we came to California for a change so obviously the first place to hit is the beach xD hahaha this is what happens when no one can figure out what to do and no formal plans are made xD

Didn't go much closer though because I was freezing xD lol another time.....After that we went to a vegan place that adds in meat if you so choose. Called Secret Spot?

Pretty good but I am noticing the prices are quite similar to Hawaii. NEED JOB!!!!!
So after that, we have to rush home because turns out boyfriend's brother purchased a 60" TV and had it delivered today thinking we were just going to be sitting around doing nothing.......I mean applying for jobs.......like we do everyday. AHAHA. We get home and the TV is sitting in the backyard and we have to drag it in. Fun stuff. It gets more fun. We then had to mount the darn thing.
I just want to go ahead and clarify that by "we," I mean the boyfriend and his brother. I pleaded "weak and pathetic" (hey, I had a freaking long day, I just want to sit and tell strangers about my day) and I provided photo support. As a bonus, I provided vision tests as the flash continuously went off.

Time to rest! Oh wait no, now there is a huge TV without a home. Boyfriend's brother wants to put that in his room and then move the TV in his room to our room. Omg we have absolutely no room for that. But the boyfriend MUST HAVE IT!!!! So we go to his room and after we set up his new TV, we go and put his in our room. Super awkward and we may need to do some remodeling....I'll take better pictures though after I clean the room :S hahahaha
Well that ends my very very busy Wednesday. I'm exhausted and everything. I don't want to move at all. I'm EXHAUSTED. I feel as if I have already said that......this is getting quite repetitive....The good news is, we have made it through our first two weeks here and we still have the faith!
